C15 - Blinking Nebula

C15 - the Blinking Nebula (NGC 6826) This Nebula deserves its name! When you look at it through an eyepiece, it blinks out! After finding the Cat's Eye nebula, I thought I'd give this one a try. Magnitude: 8.8 Location: Cygnus Date: Sept 18/04 Exposures: 120 Exposure length: 1 second Amp on setting: OFF Brightness: 100 Gain: 50 Notes: Image size was resampled to 2x in K3CCDtools. Focus was poor. Inadequate polar alignment is very evident considering the length of the exposure.
