M64 - NGC 4826 - The Blackeye Galaxy Magnitude: 8.5 Location: Coma Berenices Date: July 28/05 Exposures: 80 Exposure length: 12 seconds Amp on setting: OFF Brightness: 100 Gain: 44 Gamma: 52 Notes: Early experiments in guiding - I had to apply a flat frame to compensate for vertical lines due to tracking, and then used NeatImage as recommended by Jan Timmermans. This program is great for reducing background noise!
