These images were mostly taken using a Philips ToUcam 840K webcam, modified per Steve Chambers' long exposure design. Most were taken using the Meade 10" LXD-55 Schmidt-Newtonian scope (exceptions noted in image detail pages).

Many people wonder if these are accurate representations of what you can see if you look through the scope... for an answer to this question, and a little explanation on imaging, click here.
